Welcome To PNGICSAThe PNG Immigration & Citizenship Service Authority (PNGICSA) is responsible for managing Papua New Guinea’s borders in relation to the movement of persons into and out of the country. This work includes visa processing, integrity checking and compliance and enforcement activities. In addition, the PNG Immigration & Citizenship Service Authority is responsible for assessing and issuing applications for PNG Passports and supporting the Citizenship Advisory Committee in relation to application for PNG Citizenship. IOM, the UN Migration Agency, donates two new Verifier Travel Document and Bearer (TD&B) workstations to the PNG Immigration and Citizenship Authority (ICA)The donation follows a three day training delivered to PNG Immigration personnel aimed at assisting PNG ICA curb irregular migration and combat transnational organised crime as part of Phase II of IOM’s “Capacity Building in Managed Migration in Papua New Guinea Project”, which is funded by the Australian Department of Home Affairs. The installation of Verifier TD&B is one component of the project that also supports the development of rights-based Immigration training curriculums for ICA. PNG Immigration Suspending Visa On ArrivalThe PNG Immigration and Citizenship Authority (ICA) today (15/10/2018) announced the temporary suspension to Visa on Arrival (VoA) as part of enhanced border security measures in the lead up to APEC Leaders Week. The suspension will be in effect from 30 October and remain for the duration of November 2018.
