IOM, the UN Migration Agency, donates two new Verifier Travel Document and Bearer (TD&B) workstations to the PNG Immigration and Citizenship Authority (ICA)

The donation follows a three day training delivered to PNG Immigration personnel aimed at assisting PNG ICA curb irregular migration and combat transnational organised crime as part of Phase II of IOM’s “Capacity Building in Managed Migration in Papua New Guinea Project”, which is funded by the Australian Department of Home Affairs. The installation of Verifier TD&B is one component of the project that also supports the development of rights-based Immigration training curriculums for ICA.
